Product Owner / Business Design Architect (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Product Owner with strong technical capabilities, also known as a Business Design Architect in the Sclable world. What you will be doing

• Working closely with, and leading an interdisciplinary team of clients, users, designers, developers and data scientists towards a common goal
• Diving into the relevant client domain with the aim of clearly formulating problems and specific requirements
• Coordinating workshops, interviewing users and/or finding new ways to familiarize yourself with the world of the client and end-user
• Identifying client challenges in digitization and proposing informed, understandable solutions
• Guiding and educating clients throughout the process
• Presenting internally and externally to clients (potentially up to C-Level management)
• Taking responsibility for, and actively driving the project lifecycle (conception, business design as well as implementation)
• Prioritizing efficient implementation without losing sight of sustainability and the ultimate business-value goals
• Documenting project risks and mitigations to enable project success
• Analyzing internal and external user feedback together with the implementation team to enhance solutions during and after implementation
• Collaborating with other architects and stakeholders to continuously optimize the product delivery process
• Supporting business development activities to secure new opportunities and clients
• Attending industry/networking events and conferences to represent and promote Sclable

What you should have

Essential:

• 5+ years of experience in successfully delivering business models, products and/or services in the digital space
• Proven track record of working from the conception stage to business design, through to the finished product
• Basic understanding of the potential, and limitations of AI/ML technology
• Deep understanding of technical aspects affecting complexity, scope and resulting costs within client projects
• Deep understanding of the IT landscape and the roles of its stakeholders
• Adaptability to move seamlessly across devices, projects and industry verticals
• User- and client-centric mindset: a genuine desire to help clients solve their business problems with digital innovation
• Exceptional project management and people skills
• Self-starter personality with a result-oriented working style
• Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
• Excellent communication skills. Fluency in both German and English (verbal and written)
• Willingness to travel (min. 30% of your working time)

Advantageous

• Consulting experience (especially digital consulting)
• Experience with processes in the following industries: manufacturing, transportation or finance
