Senior Back End (Full Stack) Engineer (m/f/d)

What you will be doing

• As part of a highly qualified team of experts, you will be responsible for the development of meaningful software applications and systems.
• You apply coding best practices and keep performance in mind when writing well-structured source code and reviewing your colleagues’ merge requests.
• You listen closely to client needs and requirements and translate them into robust software architecture and code.
• You support concept phases with your technical knowledge to shape the project solution.
• You guide less experienced engineers to help them grow their technical skills.

What you should have

Essential:

• Relevant work experience (5+ years) in building (business) applications based on web technologies.
• Profound knowledge of PHP/Laravel OR Java (EE or Spring Boot) OR C#/.NET.
• Excellent understanding of software industry best practices and standards (testing strategies, clean code, SOLID principles, software design patterns, etc.).
• Familiarity with agile and CI/CD development methods as well as using Docker.
• Profound understanding of a user-centric design process and the ability to translate User Stories and UX architecture into semantic and scalable code.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Fluent in English, German is appreciated.

Advantageous:

• Experience in one of the following FE-Frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js.
• ES/CQRS.
• Domain Driven Design.
• Test creation from Unit to Feature.
• Experience with various cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• The offered gross monthly salary starts at 3,724 Euro (according to the collective agreement on data processing and information technology) and, depending on qualifications and experience, usually ranges around 4,200 Euro, but in case of special qualifications, we are also willing to negotiate beyond that.
