We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager (m/f/d) with an established network and ability to initiate and maintain valuable client relationships. Sclable has built its reputation on innovative projects and strong client trust, especially in the industrial and financial services sectors. What you will be doing

  • Defining and continuously adapting a business development strategy and overseeing its execution
  • Working with the management team to identify, explore, and evaluate opportunities
  • Establishing a business pipeline and ensuring that it is aligned with the company’s revenue targets, marketing goals and vision
  • Creating proposals and presentations to actively drive opportunities
  • Leading and coordinating the sales cycle from start to finish
  • Involving the appropriate internal supporting stakeholders and partners at the optimal point in the sales cycle
  • Using knowledge of innovation projects and Sclable’s way of working to successfully close contracts
  • Attending industry/networking events and conferences to raise Sclable’s profile and secure new opportunities
  • Building solid, trusted and valuable relationships with important clients and prospects

What you should have

Essential:

  • Strong, established business network in Europe with a focus on the DACH region
  • 3+ years of experience with business development activities within a B2B, consulting or startup environment
  • Self-starter personality with an entrepreneurial, result-oriented working style with a track record of consistently achieving results
  • Deep understanding of digital design processes and development methods
  • Solid understanding of industry and innovation trends
  • Basic understanding of the potential, and limitations of technology involved in AI (in particular Machine Learning)
  • Genuine desire to help clients solve their business problems with digital innovation
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English (verbal and written)
  • Solid financial acumen
  • Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
  • Willingness to travel (at least 50%)

Advantageous:

  • Network beyond DACH region or Europe
  • Specific network in manufacturing, construction or the finance industry
  • C-Suite level contacts within a range of industry verticals
  • Founded your own start-up or similar experience

  • The gross monthly salary starts at 4.100,- EUR (according to the collective agreement on data processing and information technology) and, depending on qualification and experience, usually ranges around 6.000,- EUR. In case of special qualifications, we are also willing to negotiate beyond that, also taking into account performance-related bonuses if desired
